Compensation refers to the rewards to an employee after they have offered their services to
the company (Lynn et al., 2011). The direct relationship is that companies with good
compensation policies tend to attract and retain more and better employees. The pivotal
significance of having a good compensation policy satisfies the well-being of employees and
the organization at large (Lynn et al., 2011). When an employee’s well-being is minded, the
expectation is that their productivity will increase. However, considering productivity is not
affected by one variable, companies are continually faced with the problem of maintaining a
good compensation practice without affective the organization’s profitability (Brown et al.,
2003). This topic confronts the issue of curating a balanced compensation policy to serve its
financial interests and increase employees’ morale, attract and retain them, and maintain
organizational effectiveness. The topic, therefore, investigates compensation policy as a
