Understanding our leadership styles will help us maximize our skills. This will also
help us evaluate our effectiveness in specific leadership situations. Not all
leadership styles are as effective in the same situations. Understanding the best
leadership style for each situation will help us create effective strategies to achieve
what goals? As part of this assignment, you are asked to take the following selfassessment from MindTools website

to determine your leadership style. Once you have completed the self-assessment,
please answer the following questions:
1. Based on the self-assessment, what is your leadership style? Do you agree or disagree with the results
presented? Explain.
2. Describe three characteristics and skills associated with your leadership style.
3. Describe a situation where your leadership skills helped you.
4. How can your leadership style create a stronger workplace environment during the COVID-19
pandemic?
5. How can you enhance your leadership style to better improve the workplace culture? Your wellwritten paper should meet the following requirements:

In this section, you need to provide details about your leadership style results.

My Leadership Style and Improving the Organizational Culture
In this paragraph, please explain how you can improve your leadership style/leadership
competencies. As you have read, there are benefits and drawbacks associated with all of the
leadership styles explored. Based upon the drawbacks of your leadership style, explain what

improvements you can make and how these improvements can better your organization. For
example:
I am a democratic leader, which means that I possess the following competencies: ___name

Conclusion
In your conclusion paragraph, you should summarize what was explored throughout your
paper. This conclusion paragraph should offer a recap of the major sections/headings explored in

IMPORTANT: Your paper should NOT exceed 7-7.5 pages in length. Although only 4-6
pages of text are required, you can go over this limit. With that being said, do not exceed the

6. Use et al. when there are three or more authors.
