After watching the above videos, ?POV? (Parts I and II), ?Setting? and ?Allegory,? respond to the following questions:
What is point of view?
Name the three different types of point of view.
Of which point of view is this an example:
After the glimpse I had had of the Martians emerging from the cylinder in which they had come to the earth from their planet, a kind of fascination paralysed my actions. I remained standing knee-deep in the heather, staring at the mound that hid them. I was a battleground of fear and curiosity.
4. Of which point of view is this an example:
You have no idea how hard it is to study. Really. All you do is sit in your room, playing video games all day long. Then, you come out, looking for something to eat. You don?t care about school, work, or your family. You don?t have a care in the world.
5.Of which point of view is this an example:
Joe sat in his room, playing video games from noon to midnight. Occasionally, he would come out, looking in the fridge for something to eat or using the bathroom when nature called. ?This is the life,? Joe thought, as he tip-toed passed his mother?s room, careful not to wake her. She had to get up at 5 a.m. for work, but Joe didn?t care about that. He simply didn?t want to hear her nagging about his failing grades or lack of employment. ?She just doesn?t understand,? he whispered, closing his bedroom door and grabbing the gaming controller on his desk.
