Sections D and E need to be rewritten to meet the following guidlines
SECTION D.
Approaching CompetenceThe submission does not describe both a positive and a negative effect the emerging technology solution could have on the people or current processes in the organization, or it includes less than two examples for how to address the negative impact.
EVALUATOR COMMENTS: ATTEMPT 2
The submission discusses replacing current employees with individuals experienced in AWS to address the negative impact. What is not clear is a second way to address this impact.
SECTION E.
Approaching CompetenceThe submission compares the emerging technology solution to an alternative technology solution, but the comparison does not include two advantages and two disadvantages each technology may have for the organization. Or the advantages and disadvantages provided do not relate to the potential effect on the organization.
EVALUATOR COMMENTS: ATTEMPT 2
The submission discusses features such as cost and detection performance for each solution. What is not clear are the advantages and disadvantages of each solution.

Techfite Company
PART A
1.Techfite manufactures medical devices for the space program.
2.The company is growing internationally because it has set security as a top priority and partly because the company works with NASA.
3.The company is pressured to comply with FISMA using NIST as a security framework, especially when the company works on government contracts. It is also being pressured to comply with FISMA amidst its shrinking budgets because of the fewer space missions that have been planned.
4.Techfite finds it hard to scan the logs manually, and it has been exploring solutions that will help automate log correlation for both network or host-based appliances. This will ensure that collaboration with other companies is enhanced, and the need government agencies have to access the information of the company.
PART B
Item #1
AWS Amazon Web Services is an emerging technology because it offers more services compared to any other cloud provider from infrastructure technologies such as storage, computational power, and databases (Teylo et al., 2020). It is also considered an emerging technology because it offers services for technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning that are being widely used by different technological organizations for their various services. It is also an emerging technology because it provides services that other cloud technologies are short of, such as mobile development, networking, email, remote computing, and security.
Item #2
My emerging technology, AWS Amazon Web Services, falls on the Gartner Maturity Level in the emerging stage, and it makes use of an attribute called much customization. This makes it easy to rank data analytics maturity depending on the ability of the system to not just provide information but also to aid in decision-making directly (Cook, 2018). This attribute also allows the technical people concerned to make predictions of the future and come up with the right conclusions about the processes carried out using the technology for the optimal choice.
Item #3
By making use of AWS Amazon Web Services, Techfite will be able to go from scanning 10000 log files each week at a 30% success rate to being able to scan 10000 files each week at 45% success rate. This emerging technology reduces the workload needed to scan the files and enhances the speed, reliability and effectiveness of the scanning process (Teylo et al., 2020). By making use of the technology, the company will be at a position to increase their rate of scanning at a higher success rate ensuring the effectiveness and security of their work.
PART C
I have chosen the Gartner Street method as the adoption process which uses six steps called scope, track, rank, evaluate, evangelize and transfer.
1.Scope- this step is necessary because it helps in understanding the extent to which a certain technology has to be implemented allowing for proper decision making. This relates to Techfite in that the company understands to what extent it will need the Gartner Street method for its services.
2.Track- this step is necessary because it helps in maintaining records of the processes that happen within a certain system. It relates to Techfite because they are able to maintain records of what happens while making use of the new technology (Teylo et al., 2020).
3.Rank- it is necessary because it allows for determining the hierarchies of the needs. It relates to Techfite because it helps classify the process according to levels of need and necessity (Cook, 2018).
4.Evaluate- it is necessary because it helps in determining probability, plausibility or adequacy of a certain process. It relates to Techfite because it will allow them determine how the technology, they use will be adequate, plausible and help solve their needs.
5.Evangelize- It is necessary because it allows for projection of process requirements to the necessary items. It relates to Techfite because it will help them know which processes to project while making use of the technology (Teylo et al., 2020).
6.Transfer- it is necessary because it allows for sharing of tasks within the modules making it easier to accomplish these tasks. It relates to Techfite because it will allow them to share tasks among different modules making work easier.
PART D
AWS Amazon Web Services will have positive impact to current processes at Techfite because it increases the efficiency, reliability and quality of the processes. It will have negative impact in two specific ways, one, it will replace much of the work done by the people which may make them to be laid off and two, it might be costly to install, maintain and train people to use it making the company incur higher costs in the processes (Cook, 2018). These negative impacts could be avoided If the company chooses to replace current employees with those who have previous experience working on AWS this way the company would not have to train new employees.
PART E
I will compare AWS Guard Duty with Microsoft Azure Sentinel. AWS guard duty is effective and secure because it detects any form of security threats, as well as continuous monitoring and analysis of resources and metadata. Microsoft Azure Sentinel on the other hand enriches the detection and investigation with artificial intelligence (Kotas et al., 2018). Along with the ability to detect intrusions and threats in their systems Microsoft Azure Sentinel caaan also be configured to respond with its built-in automation policies. However, making use of AWS Guard Duty is costly compared to other services and is prone to flow logs. On the other hand, Microsoft Azure Sentinel is complex and has a complicated pricing strategy, and there can be some delays in the systems alert features due to its lack of compatibility with third-party SIEM solutions.
PART F
The method I have chosen to determine whether the adoption of AWS Amazon Web Services will be successful or unsuccessful to meet Techfite?s needs is the number of log scans for both network or hoist-based appliances. The future goal will be to obtain a percentage increase of 230% in the number of scans conducted. After a 120-day trial period, a second test measurement will be taken to be compared against the first one and if the percentage increased by 230% or greater, then success will have been met and the organizational goal to automate the process of log scanning will have been attained.
