Analyzing Performance Management.
Performance management (PM) is a continuous process of identifying, measuring, and developing the performance of individuals and teams while aligning it with the strategic goals of an organization. In contrast, performance appraisals (PA) are the systematic description of an employee’s strengths and weaknesses.
Identify and briefly summarize how the benefits of a PM system and a PA system impact organizational effectiveness. Based on your analysis, which of these do you think organizations will embrace the most in the next few years, and explain your rationale? How would you propose your current organization go forward?
