Social media interaction across the globe is more ?frequent than we would normally anticipate. Before social media, it ?would have been a bit tricky to connect with another business or ?industry outside of one’s own country. If there was no legit ?connections, you would have do some digging and research to connect with ?that business overseas. And connecting without much publicity would be a ?bit nerve-wracking as you would not know too much about them or what ?they really do.

Insert social media, and connecting has made its own new ?approach. As we look at businesses through or social media apps, we can ?immediately see how friendly how most would seem. In other words, it ?makes us entrepreneurs, customers, politicians, etc. feel that those ?businesses and industries are way more “approachable”. We already knew ?that globalization has advanced with new technologies, but social media ?has been an unspoken rise in which globalization has gone through a ?whole new level.

Twitter for example has made a big affect on ?globalization. A lot of marketing goes through the platform. Usually ?there is a lot of promotions for things like fashion, cars, technology, ?sports, and more. Even sometimes the use of hashtags brings awareness ?globally.

In my opinion social media can be an agent for cultural ?change across different nations, but sometimes it does not. Like ?mentioned many times before, awareness is what social media is good for, ?which is why it might be possible for some countries to be influenced ?from what is put out there.

Many companies are turning to their social media platforms based on ?where their target customers are. They are using media to connect with ?their customers making it more relevant in selling their products, a new ?initiative way that many companies are turning to in the marketplace. ?With more people shopping online and connecting that way, businesses are ?more open to other avenues of getting more customer notice. Factoring ?production gives companies a wider pricing sector and improves ?production costs. Technology is essential to globalization; it extends ?social control across amplitudes of platforms, using hashtags and ?conversation topics to bring individuals together.

Twitter provides an outlet where individuals can communicate with ?people worldwide, sharing their thoughts and aspirations to speak on ?subjects in other countries. Being able to contribute to conversations ?that benefit individuals where opportunities arise and give people the ?knowledge of conversations being talked about in helping corporations ?and small businesses. Many small businesses are using social media to ?communicate with customers and spreading the word through those they ?communicate with to make their name bigger.

There is a culture change across the nations based on how we use the ?network to communicate faster with individuals than we had before. ?Having their source of connection with others makes the culture more ?world with more voices coming together. The change in social media ?brings more awareness to businesses. It creates an environment where ?people can share their opinions?having a platform where people can share ?their ideas and spread awareness. Many individuals turn to online ?shopping as faster and more efficient.
