Beyond certification and licensure, there are additional
applications and requirements that may need to be completed
in order to practice at the full extent in your state. Discuss the
various additional applications that you will complete and
why. (Examples: DEA#, DPS#, NPI#, physician collaboration, prescriptive

complete or a certain number of practice hours you must complete before
obtaining prescriptive privileges? Note: The requirements vary from state to

Use your APA Manual (6th or 7th edition) and the APA resources in the Writing Boot Camp
course to help you set up your paper in the correct format.
An APA title page and reference page are required
An Abstract is NOT required. A table of contents is NOT required
Begin your paper with a brief introduction (Note that APA format does not require the
introduction section to have a heading). End your paper with a brief conclusion (Note that APA
format does require the conclusion section to have a heading)
Headings in your paper (required) – Use the headings that are shown in bold in the guide above
The body of the paper (excluding the title page and reference pages) should not exceed 10 pages
Be sure you include everything required, but be as brief and concise as possible (don?t ramble or
repeat yourself). Just answer and address the topics required on the guidelines. There are no extra
points for extra information. But, there are points for each item specified on the guideline.
Each of the required readings, documents, websites, etc. used in your paper should be included on
your APA reference page (In-text citations should match the reference page and vice versa).
Be sure to always give credit to the resources used throughout your paper by including in-text
citations based on APA format rules. Any information taken from another source, but not cited in
the paper, is considered plagiarism and will result in major point deductions.
