** The policy I chose was Refugee Service Programs. On April 1, 1980 is when the United States took into action to create an acknowledgment
to the needs of refugees. This action was called The Refugee Act of 1980. The Refugee Act
created the Office of Refugee Resettlement in the U.S HHS to organize the program at a national
level. The legislation made a State Coordinator of Refugee Resettlement for the state level, so
individuals in each state are able to organize things the way they see fit, but still following
national
