of the theoretical articles and discussions we have had so far, and supported by at least 2
secondary peer-reviewed articles (articles not covered in class, taken from scholarly journals
found through library search engines) You may use a movie to support your argument, but
ensure that the main argument is on a work of literature.
The following are recommended topics of investigation in your essay, but feel free to come up
with your own topic as long as it relates to an analysis of cyborgs:

? What science/nature analysis does a certain character enable? (see Haraway and Lykke)
? How does the plot reinforce or break the ability of the cyborg (or vampire) to break free
from the duality as per Haraway?s argument?
? How are eyes used in a certain novel/movie to offer an analysis of identity formation?
