E-Portfolio Completion
Instructions
Students in the RN-BSN program will make an eportfolio which will be used in every course. It is a Google-based product, so you will have it when you finish the program. During your academic journey with us, you will add some specified examples of the work you did in each course.
The portfolio is organized by tabs, each of which is one of our nursing program outcomes. In most courses, you uploaded CEU activities and papers/projects. During the Leadership course, you will have uploaded your resume. By the last course, you should have something under every tab. Please make sure of this.
In the Capstone course, you will finish your eportfolio.
Delete the information on the home page
Add a short synopsis of your professional strengths and your career goals–15 points
Add a short synopsis of personal information, like interests and hobbies–15 points
Add a picture–15 points
Make sure there is an assignment under each tab from your courses–5 points
The completed portfolio is visual evidence that you met every program outcome and were successful in your educational journey.
After you graduate, you can continue to add CE activities, work accomplishments, and whatever else you feel will showcase your abilities.
Copy and paste the URL for your portfolio into a cover letter, and you will have a powerful job-hunting tool.
Complete these changes by Sunday night at midnight. You will have already submitted the URL for your eportfolio in Week 1.
