As a social worker I personally feel like I can?t apply my ethics to practice at my workplace due to the language barrier. As a recent conflict occurred when ( talk about grocery ordering over the phone). and I was unable to assist them to the best of my ability due to the lack of knowledge. As we know intersectionality is a big component of social work, I argue more culturally competent material is taught throughout our education to avoid any ethical concerns.
