Drawing on concepts of life-course theory and one other theoretical perspective discussed in Weeks 1-5 of this Unit of Study, discuss the “messages” about human development portrayed in the image and consider the implications of this for social work practice.
The essay should provide a succinct but informative description of the image, and consider the messages, themes, assumptions and understandings of human development that this example illustrates.
