The exam has 33 multiple choice questions (2 points each) and two problem sets.
Problem Set A is worth 10 points total
Problem Set B is worth 24 points total
Each Problem Set should be answered in the space provided for the question. Please try and provide some indication of your work and how you calculated your answer; partial credit may be given for some answers (even if incorrect) if work has been provided.
You will have
three hours
to complete it from the moment you begin your exam.
The exam will be open book and open note. This means you are entitled to use all resources at your disposal including internet resources, calculators, computers, the text, class PowerPoint presentations and notes.
Note that spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. all count in life and also for your answers.
Some tips for taking this exam on Canvas:
- Canvas will permit you to jump forward and back to questions; but once you submit the exam, you can not go back into it for changes.
- The exam will be graded when all students have completed the exam; you will not see your final grade until that time.
