Research paper proposal for ENG 105

Topic: Potential and future development of electric vehicles: Solutions to deal with air pollution

Why I chose this topic: Vietnam-my home country, currently produced and released green cars to international market. I chose this topic because I want to write about my home country car industry, green cars, and the impact of green cars to our life.

What is the problem?
Gasoline cars are one of the biggest causes of air pollution

Why is it a problem?
Air pollution causes harm to human health, and we have to find a way to solve this global problem.

What are the potential solutions (briefly)
-We should replace gasoline cars with green/electric cars to reduce the air pollution.
-Use solar power
-Educate people about the severity of air pollution and encourage people to take action
-No matter what kind of flower you are, you still gorgeous as a rose.
-There are a lot of ways to reach your goal, and you are the one who decide which way to go.

Research questions I will attempt to answer:
Start with WHAT, WHEN, WHY, HOW rather than Yes/NO questions. YOU MUST WRITE 10 QUESTIONS to get full credit.
1.What is a green car?
2.What are the differences of green car and normal car?
3.How much damage will a normal car cause to environment?
4.What is greenhouse effect?
5.What is global warming?
6.What are the potentials of the green/electric car industry?
7.What are the pros of green car/electric car?
8.What are the cons of green car/electric car?
9.What will happen to the global economy when normal cars are excluded?
10.What are the impacts of green/electric cars on the global oil and gas industry?

Key words I have used to find some sources on the UB Libraries databases: green car, electric car, air pollution, car exhaust, global warming, greenhouse effect
