Project Details

Using the project management tool, complete a schedule for this scrum project. The following are details about the project.

• Product Vision: To create an online web application that communicates with the central data center of the Chicago public transit system.
• Product Goal: The web application should provide real-time updates of bus and train schedules, locations, and time til arrival/departure.
• Release Date: The full release for this entire web application is planned for 3-6 months from today.
• Resources consist of three (3) development team members who can each work four (4) hours per week, a ScrumMaster and a Product Owner who can each work three (3) hours per week
• The Product Backlog is as follows.

To submit

Submit in the Schedule 2 Assignment drop box a single Microsoft Word (or PDF) document with the following deliverables:

1. Estimate the number of 4-week sprints you would need to complete the entire project. Explain your rationale.
2. Use the Product Backlog to plan the scope for the first iteration of the project. Indicate the following:
   • Items from the Product Backlog that should be in the first sprint
   • Describe why it’s worthwhile to include these features in an early iteration of the project to achieve (1) maximum business benefit (i.e., increased revenue, cost savings, etc.) from minimum effort, and (2) a fully functional release.
3. Create the Sprint Backlog showing the tasks and estimates you’ve planned to implement the chosen features. To keep this simple, create a table showing:
