YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Transaction processing
Transactions are the fine data that are processed in order to collect data that is then analyzed for decision
making. Each department of a retail company processes transactions.
Your assignment as a group is to select two hotel departments. For each department, identify two
transactions. For each transaction, list the fine data that will be processed. Describe the decisions that
would be made from the aggregated data. Divide out the required work evenly among your group
members and indicate who contributed to each section by placing your Full name below.
Example:

? Transaction 1: The shop sells a bar of chocolate.
? Fine data: product number, employee number, quantity, amount, tax, total, loyalty number of
customer.
