Your Assignment: ERP
ERP vendors offer applications that are integrated ? they work together, typically from a common
database. Their core modules are: Finance, Human Resources and, for hotel companies, Property
Management.
You can use the Internet to find companies that provide ERP for hotels. Make sure it has applications for
a hotel company ? it must have Property Management. If it only has Manufacturing, then it is not an ERP
vendor for Hotels.
Your group assignment is to find three ERP vendors that cater to hotel companies. For each company,
? How many installations (hotel customers) do they have?
? Identify two of its hotel customers, names that you know if possible?
? What do they claim is their major feature?
? Write a summary, stating which company you would select. Obviously this is very subjective as
you have not done a detailed investigation. Base your group decision on what you have learned
about each company.

Referencing: no doubt you will find most of your information on the Internet. Other than your
Summary, provide the link to your selected ERP vendors.
